Welcome to my blog! Here you can read various ramblings etc. about stuff in the news/on the internet/random garbage that I’m thinking about or that annoys me. So anyway,

5 things you should know about me:

1. I have an insane memory. Basically I can remember pictures/numbers pretty well, from ages ago and for no apparent reason. This is good, for example remembering pi (which unfortunately I’m actually pretty shocking at), Rubik’s cube algorithms or musical scales etc. but is also bad because everything I ever do wrong I remember forever and constantly am annoyed by. I always relive these events and imagine different outcomes, such as when I was about 6 and had to choose between getting a special ninja Action Man and Dr.X (I chose Dr.X - big mistake) and others. Unfortunately my memory does not extend to remembering common activities or stuff I actually have to do.

2. I do everything in phases. Everything from certain types of biscuits (form Jaffa Cakes to Rich Tea, currently it’s Digestive biscuits) and hobbies. For example I did have a Rubik’s Cube phase (29 seconds was my best - rubbish, I know but everyone else I knew gave up before this) and a animating phase etc. This means I spend absolutely all of my time doing one thing and then completely abandon it for months and months, which was good when I started learning guitar because I played for 4 hours a day, but currently I just waste time making blogs and beatboxing. NB. this does mean I will update this blog obsessively for a while and then give up because I have realised how pointless it is.

3. I never finish anything. This normally means I spend a huge amount of effort setting something up, i.e. a blog or when I was younger a toy soldiers battle (nowadays I usually embark on massive projects just before i should go to bed and then forget them the next day.) I’m in good company though as Leonardo da Vinci also never finished anything - which for him and the world was a bad thing as many of his amazing inventions such as the plane were never put into use. Also I spend alot of time setting up my computer in a certain way, currently with Launchy and no desktop icons; previously with a Mac theme.

4. I am vehemently atheist and have a tendency to rant for hours on the subject. I won’t start here, so count yourself lucky but I accept that people are entitled to their own views and beliefs.

5. I can’t stand inaccuracy - from grammar and spelling especially to idiocy. Most annoying is when teachers get things wrong - such as spelling errors but no-one enjoys my pedantry. Also, I hate watching those things on the news when they get people off the street to comment on politics when they know absolutely nothing about it or anything else in the world.

1. David Cameron - I just can’t stand him, he has no substance and is popular solely by jumping on the back on the failures of other people and parliament.

2. Evangelists/Religious Fundamentalists - obvious

3. Noel Edmunds - If you have talked to me for any considerable time you will understand why.
